What Does the ES Icon Mean?

If you see an ES icon in a text bubble next to a patient’s name on the calendar, it indicates that the patient’s preferred language has been set to Spanish in their patient profile.

Functionality of the ES Icon

When a patient’s preferred language is marked as Spanish, the following features are activated:

  1. Calendar Display: The ES icon appears next to the patient’s name for easy identification.

  2. Spanish Appointment Communication: The system will use any Spanish Appointment Template verbiage configured for:

    • Scheduled text reminders

    • Reminder templates

Note: ChiroHD does not auto-translate two-way text messages into Spanish.

Configuring Spanish Reminders

To manage your scheduled text reminders:

  1. Navigate to:
Live Location > Settings > Office > Office Configuration > Scheduled Reminders

  2. Select Edit to modify an existing preset or Add Text Reminder Schedule to create a new one.

To manage your reminder templates:

  1. Navigate to:
Live Location > Settings > Office > Office Configuration > Reminder Templates

Important Notes About Spanish Reminders

ChiroHD provides Spanish translations for our default reminder templates for scheduled reminders and reminder templates. If you customize these templates in ANY way, you will need to provide your own Spanish translations for any changes.
