Understanding Patient Statuses in ChiroHD
Updated over a week ago

In ChiroHD, you can assign a status to each patient. This is managed within the patient’s profile and allows your office to categorize patients based on their level of engagement.

How to Change Patient Status:

  1. Navigate to the patient’s profile.

  2. At the top left corner, next to the profile picture, you’ll find a dropdown menu for Patient Status.

  3. Use the dropdown to select the appropriate status.

What Each Status Represents:

Patient statuses are entirely determined by the office. ChiroHD does not automatically update a patient’s status—it is up to the office to decide.

  • Active:

    • Indicates the patient is an active member of the office.

    • The office defines which patients qualify as active.

  • Inactive:

    • Indicates the patient is no longer active but can still receive communications, such as texts or marketing/email campaigns (feature in progress).

      • At this time, an inactive patient cannot text the office back.

    • The office determines which patients fall into this category.

  • Terminate:

    • Indicates the patient is no longer active and should be excluded from all future communications, including texts or marketing/email campaigns (feature in progress).

    • The office decides which patients should be terminated.

By understanding and utilizing these statuses, your office can better organize patient management and communication preferences.
