Purpose of Queue Messages
Queue messages allow offices to communicate essential information about a patient efficiently. These messages can include details like:
Provider preferences
Use of specific techniques (e.g., activator preference)
Notes about major surgeries or other relevant considerations
These messages are versatile and can be tailored to suit any workflow needs.
Setting Up a Queue Message
To create a queue message for a patient:
Navigate to the patient’s profile.
Locate the Basic Information section.
Enter the message in the Queue Message field.
Tips for Effective Queue Messages
Keep messages short and concise.
Use the message field for quick, high-level notes rather than detailed information.
Display Options
By default, queue messages appear as a blue banner at the top of the patient’s name in the queue.
To emphasize the message, select the "Flag as important" option. This changes the banner to red, ensuring it stands out.
By effectively utilizing queue messages, offices can enhance communication and streamline workflows across the team.
