Overview

An office cannot use Location-level and System-level macros simultaneously in ChiroHD. Users must choose one or the other.

Solution

To create a unified hub, you can move any Location-level macros to the System level. Follow the steps below to copy over macros built within the location itself.

Steps to Copy Location-Level Macros to System-Level

  1. Open Two Browser Tabs in ChiroHD:

    1. Tab 1: Navigate to Location Macros:
Settings -> Initial Setup -> SOAP Macros

    2. Tab 2: Navigate to System-Level Macros:
      System Settings -> SOAP Macros

  2. Create a New Macro at the System Level:

    1. In the System-Level tab, either click on a new tab or the macro button to create a new macro.

  3. Copy Macro Details from Location-Level:

    1. Switch to the Location-Level tab and select the first macro you want to copy.

    2. Copy the following details one field at a time:

      1. Type

      2. Label

      3. Color

      4. Behavior

      5. Line Options

      6. Output Options

  4. Paste Macro Details to System-Level:

    1. Switch back to the System-Level tab and paste the copied details into the corresponding fields.

  5. Switch to Code View for REGULAR Macros:

    1. If the macro type is REGULAR:

      1. Click the "Switch to Code View" button.

      2. Select all content within the macro box, then copy it.

      3. Navigate back to the System-Level tab, switch to Code View, and paste the copied code.

      4. Switch back to Macro View to see the macro in its usable form before saving.

  6. Copying LIST Macros:

    1. For macros in LIST format:

      1. Follow the same steps to copy and paste Type, Label, Color, etc.

      2. Additionally, click into each list item and label to copy and paste the code for each.

  7. Enable System-Level Macros:

    1. Once you have copied, pasted, and saved every macro at the System-Level, you can enable System-Level macros within your Location to access all needed macros.

Conclusion

By following these steps, you can consolidate your macros at the System level, providing a unified and accessible macro setup for your office in ChiroHD.
