Overview
The SKED integration connects SKED with ChiroHD, allowing information to transfer between the two systems. The setup process depends on where you are in your implementation. Use the resources below to get started.
SKED Onboarding
If you're new to SKED, begin with the onboarding guide to prepare your account and complete the initial setup.
SKED x ChiroHD EHR Transfer
When you're ready to connect SKED with ChiroHD, follow this guide to configure the EHR transfer and verify your integration.
Accessing the SKED Integration
Navigate to your Live location, Settings, Integrations, SKED
Location Admins only:
Non-admin users will not see the SKED SMS section in Settings. To set up or manage the SKED SMS integration, you must be a Location Admin.
Connecting ChiroHD to SKED
This is a one-time setup per location.
Go to Settings in the top navigation bar.
Click Integrations.
Locate the SKED section.
Note: In some cases, authentication may succeed but the API key may not register automatically. If this happens, you'll be prompted to contact SKED support to have the support team transfer the API key manually.
If your location has not been connected yet, you'll see the message: "Connect your SKED account to ChiroHD to enable the full SKED integration."
Click the green AUTHENTICATE button.
A new window will open to complete the OAuth authorization on SKED's side. Once approved, the window closes automatically.
NOTE: Please make sure you are logging into the correct SKED account. If connected to the wrong account, please see the section below.
You'll see a confirmation: "Successfully connected with SKED!"
You will have an option to toggle on SKED Texting.
Please see our other resources on SKED Texting in ChiroHD for further information on turning on this feature.
Patient App File Integration
This section controls which file types are pushed to the SKED Patient App and visible in the ChiroHD Mobile App.
Toggle each file type on or off individually.
Available file types: Patient Picture, X-Ray, Posture Analysis, EMG, Document, Form, Thermal Image, and HRV Image.
These settings apply to both the SKED Patient App and ChiroHD Mobile App simultaneously.
If a patient cannot see a file, verify the file is tagged with the correct document type and that type is toggled on here.
Troubleshooting FAQ
Re-authenticate the SKED Connection
If you experience sync issues, such as messages not appearing or connection errors, you may need to refresh the connection.
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → SKED.
Click Re-authenticate.
Sign in to your SKED account again.
Connected to the Wrong SKED Account?
If you accidentally connected the integration to the wrong SKED account:
Log out of your current SKED account.
In ChiroHD, navigate to Settings → Integrations → SKED.
Click Re-authenticate.
Sign in using the correct SKED account.
Tip: Re-authenticating updates the existing connection—it does not create a new integration.

Key Takeaways
SKED integration is set up per location and requires a Location Admin.
Authentication is a one-time step — the connection persists unless manually re-authenticated.
File visibility in the SKED Patient App and ChiroHD Mobile App is controlled by the same set of toggles.
If a patient can't see a file, check both the file's document type tag and the toggle status for that type.
If you experience sync issues, re-authenticating is the first troubleshooting step.
When re-authenticating, make sure you're logged into the correct SKED account before completing this step.
Conclusion
Once authenticated, the SKED integration runs in the background — keeping your patient data, files, and messaging in sync between ChiroHD and SKED. Most setups only require the one-time authentication, and any future connection issues can be resolved quickly with a re-authentication.
