SKED Onboarding: What to Expect

Welcome to SKED! This article is designed to walk you through the full onboarding journey - from your very first welcome email to your 90-day check-in. Use this as a roadmap so you always know what's coming next, what's expected of you, and how to set your office up for success.

Stage 1 - π§ Your SKED Kickoff Email
After scheduling your SKED Kickoff Zoom Call, you'll receive a Kickoff Email from SKED. This email contains everything you need to start the process. Share it with any team members involved in setup.
Your First Steps
1. Log In to Your SKED Admin Bookmark your login page and confirm you can access your dashboard.
3. Submit Your SMS Messaging Information. Federal regulations require business verification before SMS can be activated. This process takes approximately 2β3 weeks, so reply to your SKED Kickoff email with the following information as early as possible.
Legal Company Name
Tax Address
EIN
A link to your compliant Privacy Policy (must include SMS Terms & Conditions and Information Protection sections)
If you don't have a compliant Privacy Policy, SKED can create one on your behalf. A sample and authorization form will be included in your welcome email.

4. π¨ Prepare Your ChiroHD Integration π¨ A few things need to be built in ChiroHD before we can fully dive into your SKED setup! Before you connect SKED and ChiroHD, you will need to ensure the following modules within your ChiroHD Setup Course are complete:
All Calendar Users are added
All Appointment Types are finalized

Stage 2 - π Your SKED Kickoff Zoom Call
During your Welcome Zoom Call, you will:
Meet your dedicated SKED Onboarding Specialist
Review your full onboarding roadmap
Discuss your SMS registration timeline
Confirm your ChiroHD setup/integration steps
π¨ Schedule your Onboarding Call(s) (have your calendar ready!)
Stage 3 - β Pre-Onboarding Call Homework
After your Kickoff call, you'll receive a follow-up email that includes links to 7 pre-onboarding videos. These videos are your homework and are required preparation before your first Onboarding Call.

ποΈ Reminder that before you connect SKED and ChiroHD, you will need to ensure the following modules within your ChiroHD Setup Course are complete:
All Calendar Users are added
All Appointment Types are finalized
These must be completed before your SKED Onboarding call(s)

Stage 4 - π₯οΈ Onboarding Zoom Call(s)
Your onboarding call structure depends on your plan tier:

π All onboarding calls are conducted via Zoom.
Onboarding Call 1 - Messaging Setup
What to expect: Your onboarding specialist will check in on your video homework. If you haven't watched the videos yet, time will be set aside to review them together - but completing them beforehand means more time for hands-on setup.

If you are utilizing our Scale, Performance, or AutoPilot subscription bundle, you will have two additional Onboarding Calls below. You'll receive another follow-up email with homework videos to prepare you for Call 2.
Onboarding Call 2 β Scheduling & Patient Portal
For offices on the Scale, Performance, or AutoPilot subscription bundle

Patient Portal Setup
Onboarding Call 3 β Staff Training (Optional)
For offices on the Scale, Performance, or AutoPilot subscription bundle. This call is optional and focused entirely on training your front desk and support staff. If your team was present and active during Calls 1 and 2, this call may not be necessary.

Stage 5 - β 30, 60, and 90-Day Check-Ins
After your onboarding calls are complete, your SKED team will follow up at 30, 60, and 90 days to:
Confirm your office is live and actively using messaging
Address any questions or gaps that have come up
Offer additional support where needed
Check-ins may be conducted as a phone call or via email if we're unable to reach you by phone.
π Tips for a Smooth Onboarding
π Have your calendar ready at your SKED Kickoff Zoom Call β you'll be scheduling multiple appointments.
π§ Submit your SMS information early - the 2β3 week verification window starts when SKED receives your details.
π Complete your ChiroHD setup before your onboarding calls β appointment types and calendar users must be finalized first.
π½οΈ Watch your homework videos before each call. They're short and will make your live sessions much more productive.
