Simple Reporting: New Patient Retention Report in ChiroHD

The New Patient Retention Report provides a detailed look at how well your practice is retaining new patients after a key appointment type (such as a New Patient Appointment or Report of Findings).
It tracks how many patients return for follow-up visits and offers insights into time-of-day performance trends.


How to Access the New Patient Retention Report

  1. Navigate to Reporting > Simple Reporting.

  2. Click on the New Patient Retention tab.


What the New Patient Retention Report Shows

This report allows you to:

  • Select an Appointment Type to track (e.g., New Patient Appointment, Report of Findings).

  • View how many patients stayed for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 follow-up visits.

  • See retention percentages at each visit milestone.

Filtering Options

Time of Day Filter

This insight can help you understand when your team is most effective, energetic, and impactful during key patient interactions.


Payment Information

  • You can also view payment totals and payment types associated with the patients included in the report.

  • This helps you track not just visit retention, but also associated revenue.
