The Appointments Report within Simple Reporting provides an overview of appointment activity during a selected time period.
This report helps you track patient scheduling trends, missed appointments, cancellations, and walk-in traffic.
How to Access the Appointments Report
Navigate to Reporting > Simple Reporting.
Click on the Appointments tab.
Setting the Date Range
You can select:
A custom Start Date and End Date, or
Use quick-select options:
Today
This Week
This Month
This Quarter
This Year
You can move between periods using the Previous and Next buttons for quick navigation.
What the Appointments Report Shows
The report breaks down appointments by type and status, including:
Category | Description |
Scheduled | Appointments that were scheduled |
Rescheduled | Appointments that were moved to a new date or time |
Missed | Appointments missed by the patient without prior cancellation |
Cancelled | Appointments that were formally cancelled |
Walk-Ins | Patients who walked in without a scheduled appointment |
Completed | Appointments that were completed successfully |
At the bottom, you will see a total for all appointment activity during the selected date range.
Important Calculation Note
The Visit Statistics shown in this report are based on appointments scheduled on the calendar,
not on services or charges posted to the patient’s ledger.You can find this clarification at the top right corner of the Appointments Report screen.
Printing the Appointments Report
You can generate a printable version of the report:
Day Summary:
Provides a high-level snapshot of appointment statistics for your selected date range.
Click the Print button to create a printout for your records.
