The Sales Report within Simple Reporting provides a breakdown of all services and inventory items billed over a selected time period.
It allows you to quickly track income generated from both clinical services and product sales.
How to Access the Sales Report
Navigate to Reporting > Simple Reporting.
Select the Sales tab.
Setting the Date Range
You can either:
Manually select a Start Date and End Date, or
Use quick-select options like:
Today
This Week
This Month
This Quarter
This Year
You can easily move between periods using the Previous and Next buttons.
Tip: Setting the date range to This Year provides a more complete view if you want to see a broader set of data.
What the Sales Report Shows
The Sales Report is divided into two main sections: Services and Inventory.
For each item, you will see:
Column | Description |
Name | Name of the service or inventory item |
Quantity | How many times the item or service was billed |
Patient Billed | Total amount billed to patients |
Write-Off | Total amount written off |
Insurance or PI | Total insurance or personal injury amount billed |
Tax | Tax amount (if applicable) |
Total | Final total amount including all factors |
Totals Section
At the bottom of the report:
Service Totals: Summarizes all service charges separately.
Inventory Totals: Summarizes all inventory sales separately.
Combined Total: Grand total for both services and inventory.
Printing the Sales Report
You can generate printed versions of the report:
Day Summary:
A high-level overview of sales for the selected period.Daily Detail:
A more detailed breakdown by each transaction or service item.
Click the Print button to select and print the version you need.
