The two-way texting feature in ChiroHD now supports MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service), allowing you to send images, documents, audio clips, and more—alongside regular text messages—for enhanced patient communication.


🗂️ Supported File Types

You can send most common file formats, including:

  • Photos (JPG, PNG)

  • Screenshots

  • Flyers or graphics

🎥 Videos

  • Short video clips (MP4, MOV)

🔊 Audio

  • Voice recordings or audio clips (MP3, M4A)

📄 Documents

  • PDFs

💡 Use widely supported formats (JPG, MP4, PDF, etc.) for best delivery experience.


📏 File Size Limitations

  • Maximum combined size = 5 MB (text + all attachments)

  • ⚠️ If the message exceeds the limit, it will not send

  • 🔄 For larger files, split them across multiple messages or use an external sharing method


📤 How to Send MMS Files

1. Open Two-Way Texting Window

  • From the patient profile, click their blue cell phone number
    OR

  • From the notification panel, click the patient’s name under Active or Recent Conversations


2. Attach and Send

  • Click the attachment icon (📎 paperclip)

  • Select the image or file from your computer

  • Click Send

✅ That’s it! Your MMS message will be delivered directly to the patient.
