The Documents Tab in ChiroHD provides centralized access to all files associated with a patient’s profile. This includes uploaded PDFs, x-rays, posture analyses, digital paperwork, and more. It also supports drag-and-drop uploads and document management features that streamline clinical and administrative workflows.
Accessing the Documents Tab
You can access the Documents Tab in two ways:
From the Patient Snapshot, click the Documents icon.
Within the Patient Profile, navigate to the Documents tab.
Both methods open the same document management interface.
Categories of Documents
Uploaded documents are grouped into the following categories:
All Documents
X-rays
Documents (general PDFs, forms, etc.)
You can filter your view using these categories or by case assignment if documents are linked to specific cases (e.g., PI, Medicare, Insurance).
Document Types
ChiroHD supports various document types, which are configured during upload. Types include:
Patient Picture
X-ray
Posture Analysis
EMG
General Document
Form
Thermal Image
Note: Documents labeled as X-ray will be visible in the ChiroHD Patient App.
Document Details Displayed
Each document listed will include the following information:
Upload Date
Document Type
Description (assigned at upload)
File Name
Associated Case (if applicable)
Actions: Options to Edit or Delete
Uploading a Document
To upload a new file:
Click Upload Document.
Browse to select a file, or drag and drop the file into the upload area.
Complete the fields:
Name: Automatically pulled from the original file name but can be edited.
Type: Select the appropriate document category.
File Date: Determines how the document is dated in the list.
Patient Case: (Optional) Link the document to a specific case.
Alternatively, you can drag and drop a file directly onto the Patient Snapshot to initiate a quick upload.
Viewing and Downloading Documents
Click on the document name (blue link) to open and view the document.
Click Download All Documents to export every file associated with the patient’s profile into a single ZIP archive. This is especially useful when sending records to an external office or for patient records requests.
