Tags can be created at the system level to be available across all locations. These system tags are immediately accessible by any location.

If a location wants to create its own location-specific tags in addition to system-level ones, follow the steps below.
Navigate to Your Live Location
Make sure you are working within your live location (not system or training level).
Steps to Create a Location-Specific Tag
Click Settings
Click Initial Setup
Select Tags
Click Create Patient Tag
Customize Your Tag
Click into the Name field to label your tag.
Click the color picker to select a tag color.
It is recommended to set a color
If no color is selected, the default is whiteâwhich does not stand out on the patient snapshot
Drag your cursor to select your color.
Copy the # hex code (not including the # at the beginning, it must be 6 characters after the #, no spaces and no extra text).
Paste the code into the Color field.
Display Option
Click the dropdown to select:
Yes â Display the tag on the patient snapshot in the patient queue
No â Tag will only display in the patientâs profile
Save Your Work
â Donât forget to save your changes before exiting!
What Are Tags Used For?
Tags can be added to a patientâs profile to identify or mark them for specific needs at your office.
Examples:
Care plan type
Preferred doctor
Financial plan (e.g., monthly vs. per-visit)
Grouping patients for reporting not currently available in ChiroHD
