📝 Overview
Tags can be created at the system level to be available across all locations. These system tags are immediately accessible by any location.
If a location wants to create its own location-specific tags in addition to system-level ones, follow the steps below.
📍 Navigate to Your Live Location
Make sure you are working within your live location (not system or training level).
⚙️ Steps to Create a Location-Specific Tag
Click Settings
Click Initial Setup
Select Tags
Click Create Patient Tag
🛠️ Customize Your Tag
Click into the Name field to label your tag
Click the color picker to select a tag color
✅ It is recommended to set a color
⚠️ If no color is selected, the default is white—which does not stand out on the patient snapshot
Drag your cursor to select your color
Copy the # color label
Paste the code into the Color field
👁️ Display Option
Click the dropdown to select:
Yes – Display the tag on the patient snapshot in the patient queue
No – Tag will only display in the patient’s profile

Tags can be added to a patient’s profile to identify or mark them for specific needs at your office.

Care plan type
Preferred doctor
Financial plan (e.g., monthly vs. per-visit)
