📝 Overview

If you are a system-level admin user within your network, ChiroHD provides convenient shortcuts to essential system settings directly from each location. This includes access to ICD DX Codes, allowing for seamless diagnostic code management without needing to navigate back to the system dashboard.

⚙️ Accessing System Settings

Within any live location, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Settings > System Settings > Add ICD DX Code in the menu.

➕ Managing ICD DX Codes

✅ Adding DX Codes

  • Before adding, ensure the DX code is not already present

  • If you attempt to add a duplicate code, you will see an internal server error

⚠️ This error simply means the DX code already exists—no action or support contact is necessary.

🔍 Checking DX Code Availability

To check if a DX code is already available:

  1. Navigate to a patient’s Case

  2. Attempt to add the required DX code

  3. If it appears, it’s already in the system

  4. If it does not appear, return to System Settings > Add ICD DX Code and add it there

📌 Refer to the related article for the difference between adding a DX code to the system vs. to the patient’s case
