Calendar Settings Button

This guide provides an overview of various calendar settings within our system. A separate guide covers enabling/disabling a calendar, setting provider hours, and managing exception hours.


Calendar Order and Color

  • Navigate to User Calendar Settings > Calendar Order.

  • The order set here determines how your calendar tabs appear.

  • Calendar cover color affects the tab's appearance at the top.

Provider View vs. Tab View

  • Provider View: Displays multiple provider schedules side by side.

    • Use this to get a full overview of your office's schedule.

    • To hide specific providers, click the settings icon and uncheck the calendars you don’t want to see.

  • Tab View: Each provider has a separate calendar tab.

    • Clicking on a tab displays only that provider’s calendar.

    • The push pin icon allows you to set a default tab, overriding the calendar order.

  • This setting is a per user setting and do not affect office-wide settings. Each user can have different preferences for how their calendar displays.


Visibility Settings

  • Hide Completed Appointments: Filters completed appointments from your view.

    • Toggle between showing or hiding completed appointments.

    • Completed appointments are not deleted; they are simply filtered from view.

    • This setting is also available as a checkbox.

  • This setting is a per user setting and do not affect office-wide settings. Each user can have different preferences for how their calendar displays.

Icons on the Calendar

  • Icons provide quick status updates on appointments.

  • Reminder Status: Displays a thumbs-up for confirmed appointments and an “X” for denied ones.

  • Appointment Status: Indicates whether the appointment is scheduled or completed.

  • Walk-In Indicator: A small figure icon appears when a walk-in appointment is marked.

  • SOAP Note Icon: A sticky note icon appears when a SOAP note is entered for the day.

  • Language Preference Indicator:

    • Displays “ES” if the patient’s preferred language is Spanish.

    • If the language is English, no icon is displayed.

Time Display on the Left Panel

  • The times displayed on the left side of the calendar are set when configuring provider hours.

  • Provider hour settings will be covered in a separate guide.
