How to Print Monthly Patient Statements For Patients Who Have a Balance
Updated over a month ago

This video will walk you through the most efficient way to print monthly statements for patients who have a balance in your clinic. Currently, this is a manual process in ChiroHD.

Step 1:

Run the By Case Balance report located in Reporting > All Reports BETA, is the report we recommend.

This report is designed to pull patient responsibility balances by Case Type. It is commonly used to see what patients owe and to send statements out. It is also helpful for auditing purposes to see which patients have credits on their accounts, verify if the credit is indeed correct, and follow up with the patient accordingly.

This should NOT be confused with the A/R report. The A/R report only relates to insurance charges and will instead show the office outstanding insurance charges - meaning they have not received a payment or posted on EOB on a charge.

Step 2

Pull up the Statements report located in Reporting > All Reports BETA (you were just on this screen when running the By Case Balance report).

Step 3

Use the By Case Balance report as your working document to plug in the names into the Statement report (see video).

You will end up typing in a patient's name that owes into the Statement report > run the report > print the statement > go back to that Statement report screen > type in the next patient's name > run report > print statement > repeat!
