This article explains how to schedule a new patient appointment in ChiroHD. You'll be guided through accessing the calendar, entering patient details, and setting up notifications, as demonstrated in the accompanying training video.
Scheduling a New Patient Appointment
Navigate to your calendar and click on the desired date and available time slot. In the appointment dialog, click the New button.
Select the appropriate case type for the visit.

The default is typically set to Cash.
βChoose your Appointment Type.

Which should be set to new patient appointment to properly indicate this is for a new client visit.Enter the patient's name and any other necessary information in the provided fields.
βAdd the Patient's Phone and Email Address.
βIf Checkmark is checked beside Phone, it will allow text notifications.
βIf Checkmark is beside Email, once an email address is entered, ChiroHD will automatically send the new patient template email.
Choose the Referral Source from the dropdown menu.

At this point, you have two options:
βSelect Create Patient Only to set up a patient profile without an appointment.
βSelect Schedule Appointment to create the profile and schedule the appointment at the time that you previously chose from the calendar.
