Scheduling a New Patient Appointment

  1. Navigate to your calendar and click on the desired date and available time slot. In the appointment dialog, click the New button.

  2. Select the appropriate case type for the visit.

    The default is typically set to Cash.
    ​

  3. Choose your Appointment Type.

    Which should be set to new patient appointment to properly indicate this is for a new client visit.

  4. Enter the patient's name and any other necessary information in the provided fields.

  5. Add the Patient's Phone and Email Address.

    • If Checkmark is checked beside Phone, it will allow text notifications.

    • If Checkmark is beside Email, once an email address is entered, ChiroHD will automatically send the new patient template email.

  6. Choose the Referral Source from the dropdown menu.

    • Select Create Patient Only to set up a patient profile without an appointment.
