In ChiroHD, offices that use Fortis as their merchant service can easily view patient payment information directly within the system.
The Financial Tab and the Recurring Payments Report allow you to quickly see saved cards and recurring billing details without needing to log directly into Fortis.
Financial Tab in the Patient Profile
The Financial Tab in the patient’s profile provides a read-only view of payment information synced from Fortis, including:
Saved Cards (Account Vault):
Displays any credit or debit cards saved on file.Recurring Billings:
Shows any active recurring payment schedules set up through Fortis.
Important:
You cannot edit or manage cards or recurring billing directly from ChiroHD.
To make changes, you must open the Fortis Contact and update information within Fortis.
The Financial Tab is simply meant to give your team quick and easy access to view patient financial details without needing to leave ChiroHD.
How It Works
Any payments processed through Fortis are automatically synced to the patient’s Transaction Ledger in ChiroHD.
The Financial Tab provides a quick snapshot of how the patient is paying and when they are set up to be charged.
Recurring Payments Report
To see a full list of patients with active recurring billing:
Navigate to Reporting in the navigation menu.
Click on Recurring Payments.
This report displays:
Every patient with a recurring billing schedule set up in Fortis.
Basic information like next payment date, amount, and method.
Note:
You can also view this same information directly within Fortis by opening the Fortis Contact and selecting Reports > Recurring Billings.
However, ChiroHD provides this view to save you time and simplify access.
