Overview
Adjusting Areas help indicate which table or room a patient is being seen in. This feature can be used independently or alongside the Calling Module, which audibly calls patients to the correct area. We will cover the Calling Module in a future lesson, but for now, please create all necessary adjusting areas.
1. Access Adjusting Areas
Log into your live ChiroHD Location.
Click Settings.
Select Initial Setup.
Click Adjusting Areas.
2. Create an Adjusting Area
Click Add Area.
Enter the necessary details:
Name: The name of the adjusting area.
Phonetical Name (Optional): Used by the Calling Module to correctly pronounce the area name.
Order Number: Determines the order in which the adjusting areas appear on the Flow tab.
Click Add Area to save.
Repeat for any additional adjusting areas.
3. Managing Adjusting Areas
Adjusting Areas can also be set up through the Calling Module.
Navigate to the Calling Module Tab that is located to the left side of your calendar, and enable Calling.
Click Create Area to add new adjusting areas directly from this screen.
You can drag and drop to reorder adjusting areas within the Calling Module.
Notes
Adjusting Areas can be created for exam rooms, treatment tables, X-ray rooms, or any area where patients receive care.
If using the Calling Module, ensure that Phonetical Names are entered correctly for accurate patient callouts.
